Emily The Strange Introduces “Emiwee"

Alternative clothing manufacturer Emily the Strange has proudly announced a new addition to their brand in the form of debutant character “Emiwee”, who is to feature on the companies clothing in it’s up coming collections for toddlers and young children worldwide. Currently, the market that Emily the Strange are trying to break is presently controlled by Warner Brothers and Disney, with characters from cartoon heavyweights such as the Loony Toons and a wide range of Disney animated characters. Emiwee is tipped by many to be a success, with the character standing out from the competition with its blend of Emily the Strange wares usual attitude with a hint of cuteness.

Emiwee has been inspired by the growing success of the alternative clothing brand, and is being released with a selection of cutesy catchphrases including “I Don’t Want To Hold Your Hand”, “I Heart Monsters”, “Wee Will Rock You” and of course “I Heart My Mummy”. The character can typically be found with her cats and will be depicted with these pets on many items from the up coming Emiwee range from Emily the Strange.

Creater of the alternative clothing brand, Bob Reger, has expressed a wish to expand into the infant and toddler clothing market for some time, claiming it to be a logical move with the brand being around for some 15 years. In addition to this, many of the brands fans now have children of their own and would be an ideal market for Emily the Strange to target. With this in mind, the company expect the launch of their new range to be a hit amongst its growing fan base as well as other parents who are unfamiliar with the alternative clothing brand.

The launch of this new line from Emily the Strange is expected to include a number of t-shirts, dresses, beanies, hoodies and even a selection of bibs to nicely complete the collection. If you want to get your hands on these new clothing products from Emily the Strange then you will have to wait until November, when the brand will be selling their range exclusivly through their website.
