Based in the UK, Alchemy Gothic and Alchemy Carta are well known British clothing and jewelry design company established
in 1977 by two pewter smiths, who both remain the main creative forces at Alchemy Gothic. With their love
of all things Alternative and Gothic, Alchemy began to produce jewelry, gothic design tshirts, fashion accessories, and other fashion tops and jackets. Alchemy Gothic is mainly recognised these days by their collectable gothic images and original art plus their fantasy art clothing collections.
Alchemy's main style of art stems from their early rock 'n roll, punk and
goth roots, and as designers, Alchemy Gothic's creators established a new revival in gothic art, design and style. their creative
work has a fantasy art theme, and is mainly based upon mythology, The Dark
Ages, Medieval and Victorian history and occult lore via the goth culture. They have recently branched out into Alchemy UL13 tattoo inspired accessories and the sister brand UL17 which has more of a feminine style incorporating rockabilly piercing and tattoo-art.
